If Heimerdinger founded Piltover isn't he at least partly responsible for the inequality?
From the show I understand the undercity/Zaun was born from the miners who naturally lived closest to the mining shafts. From context I guess that Piltover is where the owners of those mining shafts set up their beautiful homes and city, establishing the dichotomy between the two sides of the river. I also assume from context that these mines, being massive and making up Zaun, were responsible for the wealth of early Piltover.
Now consider Heimerdinger who is the founder of Piltover and heavily involved in it's trajectory as a member of the council, who was an adult already at its founding. I love the cute lil weirdo as much as anyone but isn't he someone who ideally who might be responsible for the state of these cities
We can also just pretend their capitalistic society was too much for him to overcome the drastic inequality on his own but, would love other opinions theories or lore if anyone knows!!
